Altering Spoons

My friend Susan is celebrating her blog being 5 years old today and she is having an Altered Spoon Blog Hop in honor of it.  I was invited to alter a spoon and join in on the fun.  I had so many ideas running through my mind on how to do this project that I wasn't sure where to even start.  Then, the other day I was going through some collage sheets from Altered Pages and found this adorable little girl on the Red, White and Blue Collage Sheet and suddenly knew how I was going to do my project.  The biggest part of it now was to gather all of my supplies.  I love how it turned out and had so much altering a simple wooden spoon.

Be sure to go check out the rest of the great altered spoons from everyone else.  You can find the beginning of the hop here.  Don't forget to wish Susan a happy "blogiversary."
