Have you ever given a donation to an organization who in turn has given you a flower for it? Do you throw them away or keep them laying around in different places? I keep them. I just don't have the heart to get rid of them because the groups who are giving these out are the groups who are depending on our donations for other things. These flowers cost them money to make usually. We got these a few days ago and I realized that they would make great embellishments for cards and layouts so I have started a box just to keep them in and they will be handy when I need to use them. Wouldn't it be great if one day someone who stood at the doors of the local businesses asking for donations and handing these out would see them being reused again on your work and it give them a moment of happiness to know that their work is still helping others?

A flower that keeps giving
