The Card Concept Challenge

I created this card for challenge #14 over on The Card Concept blog.  The challenge was to use the colors red, black, white and teal.  On the blog there are listed 6 defined styles for cards making and we needed to choose one of them to use for what we created.  The styles are Clean and Simple (CAS), Shabby Chic and Vintage, Freestyle Collage, Clean and Layered, Clean and Graphic and Classy and Elegant.  For this challenge, I chose to create a Classy and Elegant card.  It contains the monochromatic black and white, sparkling embellishments in the red rhinestones, a rich color scheme which fits into the challenge with these color choices  especially with the added red and teal colors and layered textures between the patterned papers and the doily just to name a few of the defined elements of a classy and elegant card.

I really enjoyed doing this challenge.  It pushed me to find some things in colors that I haven't used for a while so I had to dig deep into my stash for some things.  I'm already looking forward to their next challenge on The Card Concept Blog.

Happy Creating!
