Today is laundry day for my family so I decided as I was working on it, I would also have some fun and finally use the Sizzix die my husband and son gave me for my birthday last month. I don't know how I waited this long to play with it. These are four of the tags I created using the Envelope & Tag Mini from the Where Women Cook series. Tags, rosettes and jars (dies and stamps) have become some of my favorite things to create and at times I get into the mood and create a lot of them at one time. It looks like my tag creating time has now hit me.
I had a few bottles of Stickles sitting on my desk and grabbed them to add a little dimension to the tags and envelopes that I had cut from card stock and the Couture patterned paper by Graphic 45. The picture on the box that the die comes in has what looks like Bakers Twine that was used for the bow so I grabbed my twine from We R Memory Keepers and added bows to mine because I liked the look of them on the box and it helped to finish off each piece.
I created them to be simple and to just have a little fun today. What a great way to waste a Friday afternoon while waiting on the laundry to get done. This weekend I will be playing some more with some other things so keep watching and have a great weekend everyone!
sweet, love the opposites!
