Happy Halloween!

This is always a fun time of year for us. We make family time just by going to the pumpkin patch, my hubby and son carving a fabulous pumpkin while I take pics of them, tricks or treats and here's a special treat for all of you.
I did this piece about a year ago. Would you believe it's painted using chocolate?
Here is the pumpkin that my husband and son carved this year. Our son began playing a Fender Stratocaster guitar this year and decided that's what he wanted his pumpkin to be. Isn't it great? A couple years ago, my son and I began the tradition of making a gingerbread piece every year. We are gradually building the town of Spooksville. The first year was Spooksville Mansion, last year it was Spooksville Cemetary and this year we took different approach and did Spooksville Library from the inside out. The second picture is the library in the dark...or is that a ghostly glow you see?
Be sure to stay tuned for next year's, too. Spooksville Theatre!
