I Love Cardinals!

Cardinals are one of my favorite birds so I was thrilled when I received this cardinal stamp from Just For Fun Stamps.  We have several sets of cardinals and their young around our house because we feed them.  Just the other day one of them was sitting outside our bedroom window singing up a storm because no one had gotten up yet to go out and give them their food.  The minute they had been fed they quieted down and when they were finished eating they sat outside the window looking in at us.   

This week's challenge for the Just For Fun Design Team was to use glitter or bling on our project.  Lately, glitter and I have become really good friends and I been using it a lot on my projects so this was another fun challenge for me.  I decided to use the glitter in a little different way this time.  After using a glue pen to color in the open areas of the stamp after I stamped it onto white paper, I poured the glitter over it to give this cardinal his red color.  Now he is all blinged out and ready for this challenge.  I wanted to add a little something more to finish the card so I used the Sentiments 3 stamp set to turn it into a thinking of you card.  I guess you could say I made this card thinking of them.
